Now you're ready to watch it morph into a finished published book. If
you don't know where to begin you're not alone, because being a writer
does not necessarily a designer (or self-publishing consultant) make. I
can help you figure out which printer, publisher, or POD to work with,
how to purchase
an ISBN number and register your copyright at the
Library of Congress...basically all you need to know. What's the big
difference between me and a larger "self-publishing service"? You get
personalized service and your book gets the customized attention it
deserves. I will listen carefully to your needs and include you in
every aspect of the decision-making process. When the book is done it
will be YOUR BOOK in every way.
Creating ebooks (including Kindle MOBI, Book Nook, and EPUB files for all devices.
Placing your document text into publishing software (Adobe InDesign) and creating a look that meets your specifications.
Formatting
your designed document according to your chosen publisher's
specifications, uploading all documents, and working with publishing
contacts to produce a hard proof of your book.
Transforming
your ideas into a hardcover or perfect-bound book cover, complete with
your author-owned ISBN and barcode. If you would like to incorporate
artwork onto your cover, we can do that too. If you don't know what you
want, don't worry--that's what I'm here for.
Working
closely through emails and phone conversations to ensure you get the
results you want. No book is complete until you are satisfied.
